1.Benevolent King by Joe Albanese

Star rating:

Review:

This is a laborious book. It is jam-packed with profound thoughts and concepts. The villains (and there are many) are one dimensional and drawn from what appears to be a deep distrust about the world. All in all, this felt a good to lay hands on at your leisure and when you have nothing to do and might surprisingly keep you hooked for a long time. I liked it for the ideas and for some of the characters .

2. Every Time He Dies by Tara East

Star rating:

Review:

The determination the author has to share such a good paranormal crime thriller is phenomenal . The story has two plots that is perused parallelly and has the right amount and dose of crime in it. The way the story steps up to meet the readers expectation is truly fabulous. However, I personally felt that Tara was a little of with the array of events that were carried out throughout the book. Nevertheless, there were some imperious concepts and plot turns that I was truly engrossed in and was introduced to several new notions with respect to funerals and such.

3. The Resemblance: They share more than just a pretty face by Clarke Wainikka

Star rating:

Review:

The wonderful new theory of a women resembling a dead girl is an idea that drew me to this book. Pragmatic and sensible, this book was quite engaging and borderline relatable at first. A women living a double life is an all to familiar concept. However, the interesting twist in the story is when she has a body double who is quiet literally that - a dead body makes the whole scene interesting.

There were a few gaps and the story was ambiguous at a few points. But all in all it was a good read and I quite enjoyed it.
