Review:

If you've been following me on Instagram or have been browsing through my blogs lately, you'll notice that I've taken to a lot of self help books. I've been reading about mental health(Turtles All the Way Down, The Yellow Wallpaper), self improvement (Just Get Up, Blow the Lid Off, The Atomic Habits ) and books about managing finances, especially since the pandemic started. If yo're one of those people who like me thought Self help books were just a bunch of fluff, think again! These books have genuinely helped me during these difficult times (outside of the pandemic too) and might be something that you just might need. As we recognize May as Mental Health Month, I'm glad that I could lay my hands on this book .

Sam Sardar manages to encapsulate every aspect of the struggle each of us are going through in this one book. It's Jay Shetty meets James Clear meets Robert Kiyosaki!

The Pandemic has bought us all to a hard stop and made us face our situations even if we do not want to. A lot of reflection and re-calibration has been going on in each of our minds and not to mention the constant fear due to the virus. The author has picked p n these sections exactly and has tried to ring some ease to our minds. Some of the tools Sam provides will definitely come in handy if you apply yourself. This book has a spiritual level, yes. But you are expected to take it all with a pinch of salt.

The narrative is methodical about unpacking current situation, translating the words and actions from experience into insightful thoughts and advice. It evinces deep, contagious admiration for Sam. The texture and nuance, covering the difficulties and complexities we're facing in our lives is impeccable and the attempt to help us turn it into spiritual successes is commendably. Sam has woven the narrative with the ongoing issue with tangible solutions very vividly. This book is so relevant to the people in India especially with the current situation. It reminds us to be positive and be prepared, to hold the ones close to us closer and most of all take care of the most important person in your life. YOU!

The book is an honest, self-effacing, and even though provoking. It draws some conclusions about how we can replicate our thoughts into positive actions.Still, much of the book’s application angle is open-ended: readers are directed to ruminate, allowing their wisdom to intersect with their own humanity.

If you're someone who is dealing with anxiety or know someone who is or you just want to know what it feels like, this book is for you! Simple, yet helpful!
