My Review:

To be honest, I'm the kind of reader who likes to derive the essence or meaning of the book through stories, and for the largest part of my life believed that living life should not be spoon fed. This changed when I first laid hands of the book - " The Subtle art of not giving a F*ck". The more I read such books, more I came to realize that each of these books, fictional or otherwise have their own style of sharing insights and values and how the reader consumes it is up to them. Once I rid myself of this stigma, a whole new world of books opened to me. Like they say - Better late than never!

While I was on the journey of discovering such books, Isaac Miller shared the copy of his book- Just Get Up: And Manifest Your Inner Genius for review and it was like Laws of Attraction and the universe dropped this book on my lap!

As I began to read the book, my heart reached out to Issac. The pain and suffering right from his childhood, the innocent confusion with regards to lack of affection or empathy and the journey he endured from there. The way he turns every obstacle into an opportunity, the never letting go attitude, the hustle this man possess is awe inspiring. It is really easy to give up on your dreams when you've been beaten down once or twice. But to understand that the only person who can stop you from achieving your dream, to truly understand this will take you places and that's what it did with Issac. I was suddenly grateful for my kindle because I had the opportunity to highlight and make notes of sections that resonated with me.

There is so much to learn from this guys life and there is so much to apply. It's not easy to break habit or to come out of your comfort zone while you're going through a difficult phase. Identifying this and truly meditating in that direction alone will help you achieve your dreams. He doesn't sugar-coat or paint a rosy picture. Issac shares really practical advice and paints a picture of his life in the most honest and unfiltered way and that's how you know that he's not just any other average self help motivational writer. It is really important to be brutally honest, and that Issac knows to do best.

I look forward to reading more of Issac Miller's book and apply the practical advice he has to share with the world.

Issac Miller has time and again proved that there is no end to growth and I wish to watch him grow to his fullest potential and would do my best to apply whatever I can from his life, into my own.
